A FREE webinar is being staged by Virbac to present a new cat food which is designed to help tackle feline chronic kidney disease.
Vikaly is is described as the world's first two-in-one medicated food for cats and is seen as a breakthrough in managing proteinuria, which is associated with CKD.
The event will take place on Tuesday, December 9 at 8pm UK time.

Dr Sarah Caney, a recognised specialist in feline medicine, will share a practical and pragmatic approach to diagnosing, treating and managing CKD, before discussing the challenges of compliance in treating feline patients today.
Dr Neil Mottram, Virbac’s head of technical and regulatory affairs, will then present Vikaly, explaining how the prescription-only diet integrates treatment for proteinuria into a palatable renal formula, aiding treatment compliance.
As well as giving an insight into Vikaly, which is in the early stages of its UK launch, the webinar will explain the science behind the product and how it addresses issues around treatment compliance.
Viewers can also gain insights during a discussion between Drs Caney and Mottram,
as they tackle clinical and practical questions surrounding Vikaly.
People can register for the live event, or to access an on-demand recording of it afterwards, at: bit.ly/VikalyWebinar
